I am a state-certified alternative practitioner of psychotherapy with a specialization in biodynamic body psychotherapy. Body psychotherapy is a practice that gets the whole body involved in the healing process in addition to just talking. As a native speaker, I offer psychotherapy in English to people – including young adults – who are not living their best life and want to inaugurate positive change.
The work involves looking at familiar patterns and problems, becoming aware of their origins and clearing the associated stress and blockages from the body through breathing, voice, movement – and/or massage. Once the obstacles to living our best life have become small enough to step over or at least manage, the outline of who we really are begins to take shape. I support you in exploring your resources, owning your true identity and showing it naturally as you navigate the expectations of others.
As a body psychotherapist, I am responsible for creating a safe space in which clients can make contact with the deep emotions they have denied in order to create safety and security for themselves in their childhood situations. I observe the reactions in my own body carefully, remain relaxed and do not make demands or follow a fixed goal. I facilitate: the client determines how each session unfolds. There will be time to reflect on and integrate everything that happens. Biodynamic body psychotherapy is a gentle, caring practice in which resistance is not broken, but instead becomes a valuable part of the therapeutic process.

Book a 60-minute biodynamic body psychotherapy session in Berlin-Mitte. Biodynamic psychotherapy is available in GlowPraxisBerlin, an oasis of calm in the big city, on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 pm – inquire about other times.
Follow-up psychotherapy appointments also available via Zoom, but of course without massage!
